With Pump you choose to play your videos either in windowed mode or in full screen.
When played, a video is always set to windowed mode but you can change to full screen by clicking on the "Full screen" button.
Getting back to windowed mode depends on the video player component managing the file (see "Manage video player engines" below). With Windows Media Player, you can right click then select "Leave full screen". For VLC and Quicktime, press escape.
To go back to the library mode, click on the "Hide" button.
Pump playing capabilities are based on the Windows Media Player component so to improve format support you can add codecs to WMP and Pump will automatically use them.
Pump also supports Quicktime and VLC's media player components to widely improve video support. Once these components installed on your PC, they are automaticaly used.
You can configure how you want your videos to be played according to their extension. To do so, click on the "Edit" menu and select "Preferences...", then select the "Associations" tab (at the bottom). In this tab you can define which extension should be played with which video player component.
